First monthly meeting at new location

On Sept. 19, the club met at the offices of NK Electric, 465 Yorktown Road, graciously offered by Lions member Nick Kalyvas.

It was a well-attended meeting with members and non-members showing a sense of comradery and a feeling of fun and participation from all.

Don did his usual great job of inducting our two newest members, Karen Polacek and Rosalie Nathan.

Our special guest, DG Governor Jim Paulin, spoke inspiringly about Lionism. We also had two guests who are potential new members, Anne Kennedy and Adam Kleczewski.

Dinner, supplied by Capriccio’s, was enjoyed by all, followed by Pete’s famous rice pudding, cheesecake, and cookies.
