Organizational General Membership Meeting Oct. 17

The October 17 general membership dinner meeting was held at the offices of NK Electric, 465 Yorktown Road. Thank you again for your hospitality, Nick Kalyvas.

Dinner, supplied by Capriccio’s, was enjoyed by all, followed by Pete’s famous rice pudding for dessert.

We are growing! Don Daubney inducted a new Croton Lions member, Anne Kennedy, past president and founder of the Croton Caring Committee, who has a passion for helping people. In 1994, the Lions Club International Foundation named Anne a Melvin Jones Fellow, an honor reserved for those who are dedicated to humanitarian service and exemplify the ideals of Lionism. Welcome, Anne!

Committees were firmed up for Scholarships, Donations, Local Disaster Relief, Events, Medical Equipment, Homebound/Residential Facility Visits, Publicity, Membership, Speakers, and Awards/Recognition. Each committee will appoint a chairperson to report at the monthly general membership meeting on their activities and progress.

Our monthly meeting date was changed to the THIRD TUESDAY of each month. Our next General Members Dinner Meeting will therefore be Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Please note this in your calendars - many thanks!
